Williamston Wrestling Kids Club

The WWC Kid's Club provides instruction and competition options for wrestlers ages 4 and up. During the winter folkstyle season the club is open to all kid's through middle school. The focus is on instruction and competition in the MyWay wrestling league. Williamston hosts the "Mini Mooney" tournament on the Sunday following "The Jim Mooney Williamston Classic Invitational" held the third Saturday of January.

Following the folkstyle season the emphasis moves primarily to middle school through high school kids and the USA Wrestling Freestyle and Greco-Roman season. These Olympic styles can qualify athletes for competition at the national and international levels.

Currently the club practices on Mondays and Thursdays from 6 - 8 PM in the Williamston High School Wrestling Room on the mezzanine of the practice gym.
